Automated Product Data Sheet Production
Product data feeds from a range of sources can be auto paginated to create individual product data sheet PDF’s. Data sources could be product information management systems, ERPs, website databases, spreadsheets or a mixture.
Our solution works out which fields are relevant to each product and just delivers that information to the page.
You can control how attributes are grouped on your datasheet, you can include variant tables and you can include cross sells, kit, parts and accessories. You can also embed hyperlinks and auto generate QR codes in order to link customers to the product on your website.
The page engine is Adobe InDesign meaning the design capabilities of the world’s leading page layout tool can be leveraged, whilst the automation tools means you can produce thousands of up-to-date product data sheets in a few minutes and export them straight to PDF, or even choose to tweak a few manually in InDesign if you wish.
Completed data sheets can then be uploaded to marketing portals for partners to access or imported to your product database and linked to products as assets and copied to your web server to be available on your website.
Automated Price List Production
Similarly, our solutions allow for automated price list creation, which involves combining product data from different sources to create practical, brand supportive collateral. This ensures consistent content with your other product marketing, whilst making the process of producing attractive documents very quick and efficient.
Automated Catalogues, Brochures and Flyers
Our solutions enable data from spreadsheets, ERP systems, website exports and product information management systems to be accessed from Adobe InDesign. Pages can then be created from this data – either manually from styles elements (for design-driven pages) or from templates for place and finesses production, from data-linked InDesign Libraries or using full auto-pagination. All of these methods create pages which can still then be tweaked in InDesign if needed.
Product information changes can be made to the original data and updated from these data sources in the InDesign page. Bulk changes, such as new process, can be applied en masse to a whole publication. And publications can be versioned en masse in a similar way to produce price versions, branded versions, language versions etc.
As well as printed catalogues, online flipbooks with embedded links to ecommerce sites can be generated using the speedy page update processes outlined earlier, ensuring your marketing content is always up to date.
